Riverty Expands in Germany’s Online Marketplace with eBay Partnership

Berlin, 05 November 2024 – Riverty has partnered with eBay to offer consumers a new payment option, a seamless monthly invoice feature, now available at checkout. This collaboration provides eBay customers with increased flexibility and choice, while sellers benefit from fast transactions with a reliable payment partner. 

Strengthening Merchant-Customer Relationships Through Co-Branding  

The partnership with Adyen's merchant eBay offering a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) payment solution that prioritizes the merchant-customer relationship, including the option for co-branding capabilities. By consistently highlighting merchants' brands across various customer communications, including invoice emails, social media, and in-app messages, Riverty ensures the merchant’s brand remains central to the customer's experience, boosting brand recognition and loyalty. This strategic commitment shows how BNPL services can bolster consumer engagement.

Monthly invoice is an integrated, powerful option for paying later at no additional cost. Customers do not need to create a separate account. At the start of the following month they receive an invoice for all added purchases that can be paid within 14 days. No additional fees are applied if a payment is made on time. Payments are processed via Riverty, a trusted German payment service provider from the Bertelsmann Group.
